“I’ll never forget the time you guys spent with me.”
I came to Freedom Detox with a high level of social anxiety and fear. I didn’t know what to expect, and the thought of being around too many people not knowing how they would be or how I would be towards them frightened me. There were several people leaving when I got here, so I thought I’d be kinda forgotten about. Not sure why I assumed this but I did. The staff made sure I felt cared for, had meditation and groups, and was given lots of 1 on 1 time. I’ll never forget the time you guys spent with me. Thanks for having amazingly genuine staff!
“What more can a guy ask for but to feel loved!”
What more can a guy ask for but to feel loved! Got here and it was like I’ve known everyone forever. The food was great. The laughs, the staff, the feedback and encouragement in groups, the resources that we could take back home, and the mindset of living sober has changed me. The groups helped me to look at the best way to approach things for myself and my family. You guys were just great. My wife felt the love over the phone with everyone she spoke with each time she called as well.
“The staff kept me reassured.”
Getting here not knowing what I really wanted to do, tired of relapsing, going through withdrawals, and letting my support and myself down, I was unsure of how I was going to handle getting clean. The staff kept me reassured, brought me things when I needed them, and yet allowed me to still feel independent. Groups were refreshing and eye-opening and added to the things I can use on my journey. Thanks a lot.
“You guys gave me hope.”
The is an amazing facility, and the warm welcome was unexpected. I’ve been down this road before and came in with the mindset that I just wanted to get back to my business. You guys gave me hope, helped me delegate and make certain arrangements so that I could detach from the business and focus on my health. For that I thank you. Thanks for putting up with me, and being kind.
“This is a beautiful place, very relaxing, and the overall experience was great.”
This is a beautiful place, very relaxing, and the overall experience was great. Getting to make suggestions, provide feedback, have great conversations, and really focus on getting over this hump was more than one could ask for. Meeting great people and having the opportunity to share that with the owner was great as well. Thank you guys for everything!
“This ‘family’ of folks will always have a special place in my heart.”
I am forever grateful that I landed at your detox center, above others. This “family” of folks will always have a special place in my heart. Freedom Detox goes above and beyond meeting needs beyond just the “clinical” requirements. They’ve helped me see that I’m important and should treat myself with respect and love. That’s a huge deal in my book!
“Freedom Detox gave me a new outlook on being ‘Free.'”
Detoxing was the last thing I expected to be doing again. Honestly, I wasn’t up for being judged by anyone because I was trying to fight for my family. Freedom Detox gave me a new outlook on being “Free” I guess you can say. In detoxing, I’ve learned to be free: to be honest with myself, in front of strangers, my wife, and my kids. Being a marine, I tried to tough it out and go it alone. That being said, I’m glad I came to your center. I couldn’t have done so without you guys. Your staff spent time with me daily figuring out next steps and doing what’s right for my health and my family. You guys are good at what you do, and we appreciate you.
“The love, time, and care y’all give is amazing, and I couldn’t be more grateful, and thankful.”
My son brought me to Freedom Detox because he had gone through your program. He told me that while being here he wanted to give up and leave. You encouraged him to stay. He told me how well you guys took care of him, got him through, didn’t pressure him, but made sure he knew you were here for him. That made all the difference in the world. At that point, I knew I had to come and give being clean a try. As usual, he was spot on. The love, time, and care y’all give is amazing, and I couldn’t be more grateful, and thankful.
“I was brought back to reality.”
I didn’t want to be here, but I came. My wife encouraged me in spite of my push back. I was only doing this for her. But once I was able to attend groups and have a few sessions with your staff, I was brought back to reality. At that point, I decided to do this for myself and my relationship with God. I want to get back my family. Thanks for all you guys do.
“You guys have been like family.”
You guys have been like family. You welcomed me initially and a second time, after choosing to go home prior to completing my detox. You passed no judgement when I relapsed, and that’s what I needed. Thank you FREEDOM Family.
“You brought me back to reality.”
When I arrived at Freedom Detox, I wasn’t ready to own up to my addiction, regardless of how bad it was. I knew what it was doing to my family and just thought I’d detox, and be cured. You guys don’t know how you brought me back to reality, helped me see the effects on my family, and helped me to start looking at things different. Y’all do a good job caring for your clients. And it shows you guys really care about our well being and longterm care. I can’t begin to say how much I appreciate you guys! I specifically appreciate your encouragement because I couldn’t have gotten clean without your help.
“It was like being around family.”
This was a unexpectedly pleasant experience: good food, good people, good groups, honesty, care, love, and all. It was like being around family. I’m not one for a lot of talking, but the way y’all encouraged us, and set the standards with no judgement, meant a lot. I thank you, and so does my family. Karaoke really gave me some laughs, and good times too. LOL
“I would like to thank y’all from the bottom of my heart.”
I checked into Freedom twice. I left the 1st time because I thought, after 2 days, I could do it myself. I wanted to celebrate my wife’s birthday, which caused a relapse. When I came back to y’all, it was like I’d never left. Y’all truly made detox a more pleasant and valuable experience. I would like to thank y’all from the bottom of my heart for caring and getting me sober.
“They helped me come to grips with something I have been running from for a very long time.”
The love and warm welcome that your staff provided as soon as I arrived was overwhelmingly needed. Your medical team reassured my decision to come to Freedom Detox. My safety and well being was an obvious top priority for your nurses, medical staff, and counselors. I can’t begin to thank you guys for how you took care of me. Groups were positive, yet transparent. They helped me come to grips with something I have been running from for a very long time.
“You helped me try new things, and look at things differently for my life in spite of me feeling like I had nothing or no one.”
I was a mess coming in and several days while here, but you all never got tired of me, my anxiety, my tears, etc. You listened to, cared for, and encouraged me. You helped me try new things, and look at things differently for my life in spite of me feeling like I had nothing or no one. I can’t thank you enough for caring and letting me use your shoulders several times a day. Thank you for open groups, open conversations, transparency, and new additions to this long road to sobriety. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!
“The support you guys gave is just what I needed to keep pushing and going.”
The opportunity you guys gave me. I feel I could never repay you guys for your care and concern. The way you guys made sure I ate, (which was good) was very helpful. Your staff personally went out and bought me clothes because I came in with only what I was wearing. They made sure I showered, always had fresh towels, and was taking care of myself. I enjoyed your amenities, my own space, the groups that made me think, and the time spent helping me line up aftercare to ensure I stay sober. The support you guys gave is just what I needed to keep pushing and going. Y’all are awesome! I’ll never forget you guys!
